If one thing has been consistent with Real Madrid these last few years it's injuries. It wouldn't be a normal Real Madrid season if the team wasn't dealing with some kind of injury to a key player in the team.
Over the recent years we've seen ACL injuries to players like David Alaba, Thibaut Courtois, Éder Militão, and Dani Carvajal, resulting in them seeing extended amount of time sidelined.
However, there is one player who had been dealing with a serious injury but continued to play through it. Jude Bellingham had been dealing with a serious shoulder injury since around the halfway point of the 23/24 season and continued to play through the pain up until this summer.
Bellingham finally had his shoulder operated on following this summer's Club World Cup and has been on the road to recovery ever since. The early prognosis had Bellingham returning to the pitch sometime around November, however, that timeline could've changed, heading in the positive direction.
Real Madrid star rehabbing like crazy, and expected back a month early
As being reported by The Athletic, Jude Bellingham's recovery is going better than expected and he could return in early September, instead of returning in late October. From the club's side, they don't want to rush his return, but the player has been rehabbing like crazy as he is eager to get back on the pitch.
Originally Bellingham was expected to be out until late October or even early November, however, the Englishman is determined to get back on the pitch as soon as possible, but the club doctors don't want to rush his return and risk a set back.
The Englishman is expected to be a key player in Xabi Alonso's system, and we got a small glimpse of what he'll bring to the team when he's back to fitness. Arda Güler is currently filling in for the injured midfielder and has been doing a very good job, however, it's nearly impossible to fully replace someone like Jude Bellingham.
Real have a number of big games coming up in the months of October and November, and Bellingham is aiming to be back in time for the Madrid Derby against Atletico on September 27th, but that may be a bit of a stretch.
