JUVENTUS

Zinedine Zidane is a cult figure in Italy in the streets of Turin. He is still loved and adored by the Bianconeri faithful for his time spent at the club from 1996-2001 before he signed for Real Madrid. At Juventus, Zidane rose to surreal heights and won his first Ballon d’Or was widely considered as the best player in the world at that time.

The 48-year-old had hinted at a possible return to his beloved club in a press conference by stating that Juventus are still very important to him and that Italy has a special place in his heart.  Zinedine Zidane made this statement following Real’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League.

"“Italy is always in my heart,” he responded. “Juve has always been important to me.” “I don’t know. For now I’m here. Let’s see.”- Via GOAL."

A diplomatic statement from Zidane, which could signify that he is open to the idea of returning to Juventus. Andrea Pirlo has received a lot of criticism this season after being knocked out by Porto in the Champions League, and Juve are now on the brink of possibly playing in the Europa League next season.

There have been talks of replacing Pirlo with Zidane at Juventus next season. The Frenchman would reunite with his favourite, Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s a match made in heaven as the two were unstoppable during Zidane’s first stint at the managerial seat.  The possible reunion looks exciting but with Zinedine Zidane, nothing is ever clear as the Frenchman could possibly even continue at the Spanish capital next season.
