A large part of that squad still forms a cornerstone of the current setup under Carlo Ancelotti. Well, Courtois may not be as young as the other players in my list considering the fact that he was the opposition goalkeeper in the 2014 final . However he has transformed himself into one of the finest goalkeepers of this generation. He has been performing at an exceptionally high level since a disastrous debut season for Real Madrid. He has made it a habit of making atleast one match defining save a game. He has been instrumental in the 2 Supercopa wins and the 2019-20 LaLiga title. All that is missing is a Champions League medal.
