CM –  Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga is just in his first season as a Real Madrid player, following his 31 million euro transfer to Los Blancos, and hasn’t even played 1000 minutes yet. But he has already become a fan favourite and has proven himself to be a super-sub for Carlo Ancelotti, while also proving his worth as a starter.

He was recruited by the club as a long-term prospect, and he is proving that he is someone you can rely on. His favourite position might be that of a pivot, but he looks to be a better central midfielder, and I see him succeeding in the role of a No. 8 in the future.

At the age of 19, he appears like a player who is living his dream. After 10 years, when he will turn 29 and enter his prime, I only see him becoming one of the best box-to-box midfielders.

CDM –  Aurelien Tchouameni

The club has always kept an eye on French talents in Ligue 1, and have signed players like Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga in the past. They are reported to be aiming for another Frenchman in Aurelien Tchouameni, and there is every reason to believe that he can be a huge long-term prospect for the club.

The Monaco midfielder is an excellent ball-winner, and he will definitely make a great defensive midfielder. He looks like a well-rounded midfielder, and if the club indeed signs him, then expect him to stay for a long time.

Personally, I want to see Antonio Blanco become the club’s main defensive midfielder in the future, but his growth has somewhat stalled after his emergence last season, due to a lack of opportunities. Ancelotti believes that Blanco is the club’s future, but I doubt if the club believes the same. The club has a tendency to prefer heavily hyped youngsters over academy graduates who are yet to prove themselves. But it’s fine, and even Tchouameni is a great player.

CM – Bruno Iglesias

In the recent paragraph, I’ve written about Real Madrid’s tendency to overlook La Fabrica graduates. But Bruno Iglesias is a player who can’t be ignored by any person on the board, including Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez. The attack-minded midfielder has been one of Juvenil-A’s best players this season, and can definitely become a star in the future.

The 18-year-old is everything you expect a Real Madrid midfielder to be. He’s quick and energetic and can dribble past players with relative ease. The Spaniard is highly creative from central areas and the wings and also has an eye for the goal. In short, he is a perfect creative midfielder. Look at this video for yourself, and just get an understanding of the Juvenil-A star we have on our hands. He hasn’t been a regular for Castilla, but he has already become a part of Spain’s U-19 side.

There’s really a low possibility for the academy players to succeed at Real Madrid, but when you have a look at Bruno Iglesias’ talent, you would definitely believe that this guy will make it to the first team.
