World-class transfer target encouraged by those around him to join Real Madrid
Real Madrid are creating a list of players they would like to target in the summer 2022 transfer window in the aftermath of Kylian Mbappe’s ridiculously overblown decision to re-sign with PSG.
Although there is a lot of discussion about forward targets to sign instead of Mbappe, the top transfer target is actually a midfielder.
Aurelien Tchouameni has been linked to Los Blancos for quite some time now, and he was even on their radar in 2020 as one to watch for the future. Well, in the past two seasons, Tchouameni has elevated his game to world-class status, standing out as one of the best midfielders in Europe this past season. There really is no better midfielder for the Merengues to buy.
Of course, everyone knows how good Tchouameni is, and Real Madrid look set for a tough transfer battle against their Champions League Final opponents, Liverpool. But they seem to have an advantage.
Aurelien Tchouameni has asked people close to him about Real Madrid
Aurelien Tchouameni’s main concern is understandably related to playing time. Real Madrid have the elite KCM trio, as well as two young midfielders who are already in that world-class bracket, Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga.
According to MARCA’s Jose Felix Diaz, Tchouameni has asked those around him about this issue and what he should do. And per JFD, Tchouameni’s “companions” have “encouraged” the young No. 6 to join Real Madrid.
There are a lot of signs pointing to Madrid. Tchouameni’s agent may have even told the Reds that is where he is going, having already rejected Kylian Mbappe and Luis Campos’ overtures at Monaco’s rivals PSG.

However, after the fallout of the Mbappe decision, Madridistas know better than to assume any transfer is coming. Tchouameni may still have some things to think over, but with Real’s budget and the renewed push to go for the player, there is optimism that Los Blancos can sign the best midfielder on the transfer market.
