Real Madrid are trying their best to get good players for both the first team and Castilla. They’ve signed a few players for Castilla while adding two great players to the first team in Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger. But, there is still work left to be done.

Real Madrid, in my opinion, need a forward. I’ve said this a lot of times, but I don’t really think they need to sign a striker, but they do need a winger that fits the profile. Right now, there are none, because Serge Gnabry renewed with Bayern.

But, you never know what the future holds, so the club needs to not panic sign anyone, and keep their cool until they find a good player.

They don’t really need to sign a young striker prodigy right now because of how good Karim Benzema is. They can do with a seasoned veteran, but even if they do not sign one, they should be fine.

One, because they have Eden Hazard and Rodrygo Goes to experiment as false nines, and two, they also have Juanmi Latasa, who, according to Mario Cortegana, is not going to leave the club anytime soon.

Latasa, according to Cortegana, is well respected by Real Madrid’s coaching staff, and they look to alternate him between the first and the second team, which closes the door to his exit.

That’s a good decision, but I think that Latasa is at a point where he needs to play a lot. He’ll get that at Castilla for sure this season, as he’s become a nailed-down starter under Raul, but to take the next step, he will have to play against better oppositions more frequently.

Latasa probably won’t get that at Real Madrid, but you never really know. Maybe he takes a leap and scores tons of goals, maybe he doesn’t.

Next. Real Madrid set the criteria for a potential striker signing. dark

It’s all a matter of time. But, if there is one thing that is certain, it is that Latasa is staying put at Real Madrid this season. It’s going to be fun to see him play for Real Madrid sporadically, but also to watch him play more regularly at Castilla.
