Real Madrid have had a bunch of suspensions and injuries throughout the season. Real Madrid have seen lengthy suspensions to Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham on multiple occasions, as well as some injuries here and there that have disrupted the continuity of this team.

Real Madrid are no strangers to it - they have had these problems before and yet they prevailed in huge Champions League clashes.

Against Arsenal, it is important to note that Aurelien Tchouameni will be suspended due to his yellow card against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano.

Just in the same sense, Real Madrid have four players who can miss the second leg against Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 16 should they manage to get a yellow card for an offense.

Real Madrid have three possible starters at risk of suspension

Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric, Antonio Rudiger and Endrick are all at risk of getting suspended for the crucial clash against Arsenal in the second leg. We know that at least three of those players - not including Endrick - could potentially start against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Losing them would be a huge loss, especially if that player is Rudiger. If that is the case, Real Madrid would have to field Raul Asencio next to either Aurelien Tchouameni or David Alaba, neither of whom are good enough options for the Champions League.

Tchouameni is much, much better as a pivot, and he should be a nailed-on starter after the performances he has had this season. Alaba, on the other hand, has not looked good in a Real Madrid shirt ever since his long-awaited return from the ACL injury he picked up in 2023.

Camavinga and Rudiger are the two players from that list who are most likely to start against Arsenal, and hopefully they are able to play the whole game without getting booked.
