Real Madrid beat Roma 4-3 in a huge comeback win in Italy on Wednesday, as goals from Kylian Mbappe, Endrick, Carlos Espi and Antonio Rudiger sparked a win from two goals down in the last stages of the game.

The game was anything but perfect, but Real Madrid still managed to beat Roma in the only way they know how to, which is to channel the DNA and score goals without reply.

The game had so many different faults, which we will get to in other articles, but here are the stars and flops from a chaotic night in Rome.

4 stars and 4 flops from Real Madrid's historic comeback win over Roma

Endrick - star

Endrick had only played four minutes before this match, and the 31 he played on the night proved to be the most important minutes he has had in a Real Madrid shirt over the last couple of years.

Endrick came on and immediately looked like a man possessed. He was playing as a right-winger and dribbled past players for fun. He created so much danger for his Real Madrid teammates, and looked like the Endrick everyone saw and loved at Lyon last season.

His header ended up causing Carlos Espi to score a goal to start a comeback, before scoring from yet another header to equalise for Los Blancos. It was a mesmerising performance, and the more he plays, the better it is for Real Madrid. He brought the spark and energy that has been missing from Real Madrid's attack for a very long time, and starting him there is the way to go.

Vinicius Junior - flop

Once again, Vinicius Junior was pretty awful. The Champions League is supposed to be his competition, and yet, there was nothing special about the way he played. He was barely involved in the attack in the first half, before quickly being subbed off in the second.

He was also apparently quite mad about being subbed off, but he shouldn't have been.

Carlos Espi - star

What a man. Espi has been Real Madrid's most exciting signing of the season, as whenever he comes on, chaos and, usually, goals also follow. It is a huge surprise that the player has not played more minutes, and he made Mourinho aware of exactly that as he scored the goal that instigated the comeback.

Aurelien Tchouameni - flop

Tchouameni once again had a pretty bad performance as he was not able to dominate the game against Roma on Wednesday. He looked lethargic, his passes were not good enough and he did not close his man down on countless occasions. Not sure why he keeps starting.

Arda Guler - star

Three corners, two assists, and another corner leading to a goal - Guler is simply exceptional. A brilliant performance off the bench as he keeps knocking on Real Madrid's door to become a nailed-on starter. Showed so much more bite than many of Real Madrid's other midfielders.

Denzel Dumfries - flop

Dumfries has yet to produce one single good performance for Real Madrid this season. He was bang average throughout the match, and was subbed off in the second half. Trent Alexander-Arnold remained on the bench, but doing nothing is still better than playing the way Dumfries played.

Yan Diomande - star

The only player from Real Madrid's starting XI who kept trying to will his way to a goal or two. He had an assist to Kylian Mbappe's goal, before relentlessly dribbling past countless Roma bodies in the hopes of creating something out of nothing. He was good on the night, and deserved another assist or two.

Marc Cucurella - flop

So much more was expected from the Spanish full-back, and he did not live up to the expectations. Another mediocre performance which led to him being subbed off for Alvaro Carreras.
