Aston Villa, managed by former Sevilla boss Unai Emery, would like to sign a Real Madrid player who Carlo Ancelotti vocally loves.
Carlo Ancelotti is in high spirits and understandably so, given how Real Madrid dealt with the international break return. Los Blancos beat Leganes 3-0, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a goal to relieve the pressure from his name.
Three goals scored and a clean sheet was the perfect way for Real Madrid to head into this week's fixture. They face Liverpool at Anfield Stadium, with Carlo Ancelotti under pressure from the board to perform in this match above any other.

According to a report from Caught Offside, Aston Villa have joined the transfer race to sign Arda Guler from Real Madrid. They are in the race alongside AC Milan, Juventus and of course, Arsenal.
However, given the injury concerns which continues to pile up at Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti might be remiss to sell Arda Guler. In fact, the Italian boss should keep all of his best players, if possible.
Speaking after the Leganes match, which Guler started in and assisted in, Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for Arda Guler. In fact, he said the Turkey international made the complete performance.
In his own words, Carlo Ancelotti said: "Arda has contributed a lot when it comes to creativity in the final third, he has been close to scoring goals, he has played a complete game. These are players that we can count on at this moment because the demands of the games are very high. We need everyone going forward."
Judging by this, Carlo Ancelotti has no plans to sell Arda Guler. Ancelotti has essentially told the media that he considers every player as important going forward, particularly with the demands of the fixture schedule increasing.
It is no secret that with every season which passes, teams are expected to play more games. Therefore, it is within a manager's best interest to bolster their squad with depth. Having players like Guler who can come into the team and slot in seamlessly is of utmost performance.
That said, Guler has great aspiration. He does not want to be pigeonholed as a bench player and instead, he would like to push for the first team. Therefore, until he is an assured starter, there will continue to be transfer links involving him.
