Chelsea and Real Madrid will be involved in transfer discussions between now and the end of the window. After all, the two clubs have a mutual interest in one another's goalkeepers, so transfer discourse is bound to happen in one shape or form, if it hasn't already.

Chelsea are linked with a move for the Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The Ukraine international is just one of many options considered by Chelsea, but he remains an option for Enzo Maresca nevertheless. Furthermore, a sale of Andriy Lunin (which is likely to happen, even if not to Chelsea), means that Real Madrid could be on the hunt for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

In a symmetrical world, then, a swap deal could be arranged between both clubs. This is certainly an option, as according to AS (h/t Metro), a swap deal is currently being discussed between Real Madrid and Chelsea, seeing Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga switch clubs. This is due to Chelsea not wishing to meet Real Madrid's €30m asking price for Lunin, but the Blues are willing to lose Kepa.

Kepa Arrizabalaga spent last season on loan at Real Madrid. While he was not a sure starter under Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish goalkeeper impressed in his minimal appearances. It was always a toss-up between Kepa and Lunin and given that the former is happier with playing a back-up role, it could be a move which benefits all parties.

However, it must be stated that Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Filip Jorgensen, which could complicate matters for Andriy Lunin. In many ways, though, it does essentially solidify the position that Kepa is up for a transfer this summer. Andriy Lunin's future could club depend on Chelsea's deal for Jorgensen but either way, the Ukraine goalkeeper is unsettled at Real Madrid.

Do you think Real Madrid should sign Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer?
