In the 2023/24 season, Jude Bellingham was one of the most pivotal players to Real Madrid. In fact, the new signing might've been the best player at the club, had it not been for Vinicius Junior's well-documented heroics. Either way, Bellingham was the top goal-scorer for Real Madrid in La Liga and he will be key to Carlo Ancelotti for the upcoming season.

In the new classy kit, Jude Bellingham put in yet another monumental display against Atalanta in the recent UEFA Super Cup win. He provided an assist in the match and for the first goal, he played another role with a key pass.

Jude Bellingham hints at Real Madrid position change

As per Fabrizio Romano, Jude Bellingham said: “I will do whatever Ancelotti wants. I will play anywhere, no problem. It was destined for Kylian to score tonight. He’s a great player, he works hard for the team”.

Much of the discourse heading into this season has been around how the arrival of Kylian Mbappe affects the rest of the Real Madrid players. However, Jude Bellingham being malleable and able to fit into many different positions in the midfield and attack certainly helps his case.

Besides, there looked to be no hostility between Kylian Mbappe and the Real Madrid attackers since when the Frenchman scored his first Real Madrid goal, his new teammates joined him in a nice moment to replicate his iconic celebration. Fans get the sense they'll be seeing many more of these moments at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

With Eduardo Camavinga out injured, Jude Bellingham may be asked to operate in a deeper role than usual. While he will still bomb forward, just as he did in the UEFA Super Cup, he will also be expected to carry out defensive duties. He is no stranger to a deeper role, though, and it's similar to where he played for Borussia Dortmund.

Where do you think is Jude Bellingham's best position?
