Kylian Mbappe will part ways with Paris Saint-Germain this summer, as it is confirmed he will now represent Real Madrid from the 2024/25 campaign. This leaves PSG without a star of their own, so where will Luis Enrique look next for his blockbuster transfer?

Unfortunately for Real Madrid fans, the unpopular figure Luis Enrique just won't leave them alone. It has been reported for many years that PSG are seeking a gargantuan signing of Vinicius Junior from the Santiago Bernabeu. It is clear to see his thinking and perhaps the arrival of Kylian Mbappe will render Vinicius Junior as surplus to requirements.

But the answer is no.

Real Madrid reject Paris Saint-Germain transfer plan for key player

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Vinicius Junior is simply "untouchable". This means that Florentino Perez does not consider the potential Ballon d'Or winner as up for sale, at any cost.

Vinicius Junior is the best player in the world currently. The Brazil international set the world alight in the 2023/24 campaign, helping his side to win an infamous treble. He also scored in the UEFA Champions League final, securing victory late into the match and cementing himself among the greats.

It is easy to forget that Vini Jr is still a young player. Given how he plays with so much maturity, it is difficult to imagine the reputation he can leave behind in Europe, having already achieved so much at 23 years old. Therefore, it is clear why Paris Saint-Germain want to sign him.

However, the turncoat Enrique can look elsewhere. Instead, he will have to endure his former star Mbappe combine with Vinicius Jr to seek yet another Champions League honour next season, which would be the first for Mbappe.

There are many possible ways that Real Madrid could lineup next season. After all, they now have a plethora of world-class talent in their squad, particularly the midfield and attack. That said, it is difficult to justify any Real Madrid lineup without Vini Junior and Kylian Mbappe. Other stars may have to miss out, but not those two.

From Real Madrid's perspective, it is great to see Vinicius Junior placed on such a high pedestal by Florentino Perez. After all, he has all the potential in the world and he is surely on the way to becoming a Real Madrid legend, if he isn't considered one already.
