Real Madrid are working hard to secure a Leny Yoro transfer this summer. As things stand, the player would like to join Real Madrid but the two clubs must reach an agreement over his transfer fee. Therefore, nothing is confirmed as things stand.

However, with Yoro only under contract until 2025, it seems like the advantage could sway in Real Madrid's favour. After all, the best course of action for LOSC is to sell their most profitable asset this summer, so they can at least generate some money to invest into the squad rather than losing him for free next summer.

That said, let's take a look at the best possible Real Madrid lineup with the Leny Yoro transfer in mind...

Goalkeeper and defence

Thibaut Courtois is almost certainly the preferred choice between the goalposts for Carlo Ancelotti. This was all but confirmed in the Champions League final and if Andriy Lunin finds a new club this summer, the decision will become easier next season.

A more difficult conundrum comes in the centre back partnership which will cover Courtois. Of course, Antonio Rudiger is a staple, so he will certainly occupy one of the centre back partnerships. The other is admittedly between Eder Militao and Leny Yoro, at least at the start of the season.

The question is will Leny Yoro walk straight into the Real Madrid team? The answer is obviously no. While he can certainly earn his way in, Yoro will have to take a backseat, at least to start the season.

At right-back, the decision is clear, it will be Dani Carvajal and Carvajal only. At left-back, the boundaries are a little more blurred, however I do think that Ferland Mendy will keep his place, at least for this summer.

Midfield

Aurelien Tchouameni will continue to cover the defensive line, as he always does so well. Atfer representing France at EURO 2024, he will return in the hopes of welcoming his countryman Leny Yoro to the squad.

Providing more balance to the midfield will be box-to-box options Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga. However, admittedly, the. attack may require little help from them, given how star-studded it is set to be...

Attack

Playing just behind the strike partnership will be 2023 signing Jude Bellingham, who had an incredible debut season. He has made himself a non-negotiable starter for Real Madrid going forward.

The strike partnership does raise eyebrows. Of course, one of the three world-class strikers at Real Madrid will have to sit out, at least in the main lineup. Unfortunately, I do think that striker will be Rodrygo, as Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are set to be the unstoppable duo, with Rodrygo providing depth.
