Real Madrid have arguably the deepest group of attackers in all of world football. The club has world class attackers through the middle as well as on both flanks, and not only in the starting lineup, but on the bench as well. This makes it a formidable attack to go up against no matter what three are playing together in any given game.
However this depth in attack also plays a disadvantage at times. With so much world class attacking talent it can be hard at times for Carlo Ancelotti to manage gametime among his stars.
Some players like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr are almost guaranteed starters every match, that leaves four attackers to fight for that last spot in the starting lineup.
With gametime being limited for some attackers, this causes the players that aren't guaranteed starters to become transfer targets for top European clubs in search of more minutes. And according to recent reports, that seems to be the case with one of Real Madrid's most prolific attackers.
PSG eyeing summer move for €100 million Real Madrid attacker
As being reported by Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a summer transfer for star Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo as the club are still looking to revamp their attack after the departure of Kylian Mbappe.
Rodrygo had a bit of a slow start to the 2024/24 season but has since hit his stride recording 10 goals and three assists in all competitions, including an impressive double against RB Salzburg in their recent Champions League game.
The Brazilian's contract at Real Madrid runs till 2028 and includes a €1 billion release clause. PSG are obviously not looking to meet the attackers release clause, however they are open to paying up to €100 million to secure his transfer.
That being said, any move for Rodrygo seems unlikely to happen as the relationship between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain is at an all time low of the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga of years past.
