Real Madrid are always thinking of signings. One day it is a brilliant anomaly at right-back in Trent Alexander Arnold, and another day it is a talented Spanish defender in Dean Huijsen. None of those signings are done yet, but it is clear that there is, at the very least, contact and interest.

There is another player who has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital on many occasions. He has been there before - in fact, he was there last season - but the club has been keeping tabs on the young plalyer.

Real Madrid let Nico Paz join Como in the summer of 2024, where it became obvious that Paz was too good for Real Madrid's Castilla team. He has since become Como's best player, and has been one of the brightest spots in Serie A in general.

Como want to keep Real Madrid talent Nico Paz for at least yet another season

According to Fabrizio Romano, Como want to keep Paz for another season, but everything depends on what Real Madrid want.

If they want to recall him and loan to a different team, or keep him in their squad, it would be a decision made by Los Blancos.

One thing is absolutely certain - they do not want to lose the player. Real Madrid want to keep control of the player and that is key for them in any scenario.

He probably will not stay at Real Madrid if he is brought back as there is no space for him, however, Real Madrid could use that situation to find him a suitable loan deal.

Como would obviously love to keep him around, though, and rightfully so, as his six goals and four assists in Serie A have all been brilliant and crucial. Losing a player like Paz would be bad for them, which is why they will try to keep him around for as long as possible.
