Real Madrid face a poorly timed Jude Bellingham injury scare, before this weekend's El Clasico fixture in the Supercopa final.

Last night, Real Madrid were involved in a heated affair against Mallorca in the Supercopa semifinal. Real Madrid merged victorious after Jude Bellingham opened the scoring. However, Los Blancos left it until late to seal the victory, with two injury-time goals making it 3-0.

So, it was a heated event and Carlo Ancelotti will hope that his star players didn't feel the impact of the action too much, particularly those he'll be counting on in this weekend's final against Barcelona.

Real Madrid face Jude Bellingham injury scare ahead of El Clasico

According to a report from Goal, Real Madrid are currently sweating about an injury sustained by Jude Bellingham in the match. Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that both Bellingham and Federico Valverde felt the impact of adductor strains.

In his own words, Ancelotti said: "He had an adductor strain, like Bellingham. It was an unexpectedly hot game, it was very hot... and it could have affected both of them."

Let's hope that both players are fine for El Clasico this weekend. It is the perfect opportunity for Real Madrid to assert their dominance over Barcelona and of course, make amends for the previous El Clasico fixture in this season.

Oh, yeah... The trophy will be a nice way to start 2025, too.

Since arriving at Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham has proven himself to be a big game player for both club and country. He has that knack to come up with big moments at big times in big games. So, he will be the first name on the team sheet if he's fit this weekend.

Bellingham, unlike Fede, played the entirety of the match. Although, in fairness, Valverde did manage 75 minutes of the heated occasion as we all know the incredible stamina and recovery levels he possesses.
