Vinicius Junior reportedly wants Real Madrid to sign Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai this summer. The Hungarian has been linked with Los Blancos in recent months and the La Liga club are eager to swoop for a creative midfield talent.
Szoboszlai has flourished at Anfield this season, posting 10 goals and eight assists in 39 games across competitions. He has been the standout performer in Arne Slot's team who have failed to put up a fight to retain their Premier League title.
Hungary manager Marco Rossi fueled speculation about the 25-year-old potentially joining Madrid. He revealed that his captain 'dreams' of playing for Los Merengues and this ignited further talk of potential transfer taking place.
Szoboszlai will have two years left on his contract in June and is thought to want improved terms that align with his status in the team. While a deal for the former RB Leipzig man seems unlikely, Vinicius is certainly in favor of bringing him to the Bernabeu.

According to Defensa Central, Vinicius is "pushing" Madrid to to sign Szoboszlai and he feels he's an ideal addition. It was recently revealed that the pair are longtime friends so there might be merit in this link.

Szoboszlai would be a game-changing signing for Los Blancos and help add much need creativity in midfield. He has become one of Liverpool's most important players, a key man in a Reds team that turn to him to be their savior.
A dream signing but unlikely for Los Blancos
Madrid are almost certainly going to be signing a new midfielder this summer and they do have alternatives in mind. PSG's Vitinha is a dream acquisition and improved relations between the two clubs could help aid a potential pursuit of the Portuguese playmaker.
Other names linked include Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit and Manchester City's Rodri. There are claims in Spain that the club have decided against swooping for Rodri due to concerns over his recent injury troubles.
Szoboszlai, dubbed 'unbelievable' by Slot, is more likely to extend his contract with Liverpool as they will want the Hungarian to continue at Anfield. He's been with the English club since the summer of 2023, arriving from Leipzig for €70m.
