Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe have been interlocked in rumours surrounding each-other since the club tried to sign him in 2017. Currently at PSG, new reports from France have alleged that Real will indeed move for the player this summer.

Kylian Mbappé has had an extraordinary campaign this season in France. Having contributed over 50 goals for his side, PSG, he has asserted himself as not only the best under-21 player but one of the finest forwards in Europe. Following Madrid’s attempt to sign him in 2017, the player has consistently been linked with Real Madrid since, however, reports in France have alleged that Los Blancos could be making a move for the forward this summer.

Tweets from France based outlet, Paris United initially stated that the Perez and Zidane have both discussed the idea and are keen to make the move. With a war-chest of transfer funds, Perez has encouraged Zidane that he will try to make the move happen and has consulted with Mbappé’s father to force the move.

Further tweets from Spanish journalists also came forward with claims that Zidane has called a meeting about the move at the clubs training facility, Valdebebas. The same report also said that Mbappé would demand the transfer if the Spanish club came calling.

The club initially tried to sign the player in 2017 after he decided to leave then club Monaco. Real faced competition with PSG, who ultimately signed the player – originally on loan. Since joining the Paris based outfit, the Frenchman has further developed into one of the worlds finest young forwards, as well as winning the World Cup last summer.

Mbappé decided against Real in 2017 after feeling he couldn’t displace any of the then front line of Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale. However, with Ronaldo gone and Bale seemingly headed for the exit door, Mbappé may be encouraged by the chance to walk straight into the starting XI.
