Real Madrid to meet with 3 stars about contract renewals after Champions League Final
Although Real Madrid are being linked to a long list of players on the transfer market, the biggest priority for president Florentino Perez will be securing the futures of several important players with contract renewals this summer.
Los Blancos have a united, passionate, and talented squad, filled with great young and veteran talents. Keeping that core together for as long as possible is vital, and we know Perez will be proactive in making that happen.
Luka Modric, Vinicius Jr., and Eder Militao seem to be the priority renewals
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, via Madrid Xtra on Twitter, Real Madrid are planning on meeting with Luka Modric, Eder Militao, and Vinicius Jr. after the Champions League Final on Saturday, May 28.
The Champions League is obviously the focus for the players, coaches, and front office staff at Valdebebas. But after that, the work on next season will begin immediately – if it has not already, given the Aurelien Tchouameni transfer rumors.
Of course, the renewals of these three players should be relatively straightforward. Modric’s renewal seems like a formality at this point, and the recent transfer madness is probably the only reason why it has not been secured already.
Vinicius Jr. is also a sure-fire renewal. The Brazilian left winger absolutely loves Real Madrid and has loved the club since day 1. He, like Modric, is the epitome of Madridismo. But unlike Modric, he is not a year-to-year player. Vini will receive a raise and an extension that will take him through the next handful of seasons.

As for Militao, there have been rumors of Chelsea being interested in him, so Real will want to extend him as quickly as possible to put a definitive end to any other clubs wanting the center back. Militao is the next big thing at the position, in spite of some occasional lapses. He, like Vini and Modric, is a top player at his position.
