Real Madrid fans sent Kylian Mbappe a strong message before Champions League Final

Kylian Mbappe was loved by Real Madrid fans without ever playing for the team, and Madridistas learned their lesson about giving adulation to a player who is not actually a club. That sort of reverence should be saved for current players, whether they are living legends like Karim Benzema or future icons like Vinicius Jr.

Real Madrid made it to the Champions League Final and even knocked out Mbappe, and they did so with their current crop of stars.

Ahead of the match against Liverpool, Madridistas sent the PSG superstar a clear message that they do not want him, as they feel betrayed by the way he made his transfer decision.

First, there was this poster telling Mbappe to stay in PSG, with the graphic of 13 Champions League titles being the cherry on top. Mbappe has yet to win the trophy with the PSG project despite all the money Qatar has pumped in to win the title in order to make their sportswashing project “valid”.

Real Madrid fans are getting revenge on Kylian Mbappe for PSG fan chants

Then there were these profane chants directed at Mbappe, “P**a Mbappe!” Recall that PSG fans chanted “P**a Madrid!” as Mbappe smiled during his announcement of a new three-year contract with the club.

So while cursing players like this is not something I approve of, understand that Madridistas doing this are doing a “turnabout is fair play” situation.

Clearly, Real Madrid fans feel hurt by Mbappe’s decision to use the club’s name to get a bigger contract and decision-making power from PSG, especially since he was already set to receive a record-breaking contract from Qatar before holding out until the last second for even more money.

But most Madridistas have moved on quietly. They are focusing on supporting the likes of Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Jr., the returning Eden Hazard, and, of course, Ballon d’Or favorite Karim Benzema instead of worrying about a young man who decided to commit to PSG instead of following in the footsteps of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo by seeking a new sporting challenge.
