According to journalist Arancha Rodriguez (via MadridXtra), Real Madrid have decided not to make any more signings this summer. They consider the squad complete, and Xabi Alonso has only so many players available for the season.

Real Madrid were reportedly pursuing a lot of other signings. A midfielder to succeed Toni Kroos, another centre-back in Ibrahima Konate, and probably a natural striker as well. But the report from Arancha has shut it all down.
Do Real Madrid need more signings? I think yes. Another centre-back is absolutely needed in my opinion. The current roster is incomplete and partially incompetent as well.
As for a new striker, I think Madrid do not need external signings. They have found the answer in Gonzalo Garcia, and that is enough. Endrick might also stay, so there’s enough depth there.
A midfielder? One cannot say for certain. Some would argue that a creator like Kroos is nowhere in the squad, and another would counter that Xabi may not need such a profile at all. So that is a signing up for argument.
Players have also said that nobody wants to leave the club this summer. So, I think that is all. There will be no departures unless something entirely unexpected occurs, and there will be no more arrivals either.
Whether this is a good decision, only time will tell. For now, Xabi Alonso has only so many players available. He will have to adapt and function with these. No more demands, I guess.
